About Us
Welcome to Curaçao Creations, your destination for authentic and handmade arts, crafts, and gifts. Since our founding in 1983 by Ossandra Lewis – Nieuw and Grace Martijn, it has been our mission to supply both the local and international markets with authentic arts, crafts, and gifts, all handmade in Curaçao with as much cultural touch as possible.
Our Journey
It all started at Schrijnwerkerstraat 14, in the heart of Otrobanda, Willemstad, Curaçao. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, and now our main workshop is located at Witte weg 58, Otrobanda, where we create and sell most of our products. We also have a pop-up store at Breedestraat 56, and various selling points across Curaçao.
Our Products
At Curaçao Creations, we offer a wide range of products including for example handmade decorations from different natural materials, fashionable accessories, wooden clocks in the shape of Curaçao, key chains, paintings, Engobes (flat clay tiles with imprints of local culture), engraved drinking glasses, and much more. Each item is meticulously crafted with love and the essence of Curaçao culture.
Our Craftsmanship
Our artisans use a variety of materials and techniques, from hand-processing clay and wood to using advanced laser cutting and engraving technology. We also offer custom orders and repairs, including glass engraving for special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, christenings, and more. We are dedicated to providing the best service possible and ensuring our customers are satisfied with their purchases.
